Beschreibung
This publication presents the concept of a glove monitoring system for the assessment of neurological symptoms during deep brain stimulation surgery. The system is portable due to the use of inertial measurement units and of force sensitive resistors. Tremor, bradykinesia, and rigidity assessment are performed by the system. The analytical methods were verified in comparison to an electromagnetic motion tracking system. Clinical experiments were performed in the hospital.
