Beschreibung
This work gives idea of optimising the cost of monitoring the power system network by installing pmus at most optimal locations subjected to various network constraints. the work carried out is first tested on IEEE 14 ,30 ,118 bus system followed by northeastern grid of Indian power grid. integer linear programming is used as optimisation tool.this work also discusses the restricted channel capacity and provides most optimal locations for pmus to be placed.

Ashish Mishra obtained his M.Tech(Power & Energy systems engineering) degree from NIT silchar, currentely working as assistant professor in the dept. of electrical engineering in Jain college of engineering belagavi. His research interests are power system stability, wide area monitoring and control of power system, power system optimisation etc.
