The book provides the requisite details on Performance Analysis of an Effluent Treatment Plant of Sugar industry under normal working conditions. A computer application based on Visual Basic.NET has been created which helps in operation & maintenance of existing Effluent Treatment Plant and it also helps in the design of new Effluent Treatment Plant. This book also emphasizes on various Bio-kinetic coefficients which are responsible for treating the industrial wastewater in Biological treatment. Variation in Re-circulation ratio for Activated Sludge Process has been analysed and optimum values of Bio-kinetic coefficients were determined.

The author, Amar S. Byakodi is working as Assistant Professor in Angadi Institute of Technology & Management, Belagavi,India. Presently he is working on "INVESTIGATIONAL STUDIES ON EFFECTIVE UTILIZATION OF DISTILLERY SPENT WASH AND PRESS MUD FROM SUGAR INDUSTRY USING ADMIXTURES BY AEROBIC COMPOSTING AS SOIL CONDITIONER" for his Research fellowship.
