The present book deals with the studies of bio electricity generation using microbial fuel cells. In present scenario great attention have been paid to microbial fuel cells as a new form of renewable energy technology that can generate electricity from biodegradable waste. Advancement of microbial fuel cell technologies provide a new source of energy to fill the gap created by fast degradation of nonrenewable sources. This book is written to understand microbial fuel cell technology as an alternate to overcome energy crisis by using waste water. This is a fundamental book for undergraduate or senior students to study microbial fuel cell set up, different applications including power generation, challenges and future aspects regarding this technology.
