This book gives the information about the effect of tool pin profiles and process parameters on microstructure and mechanical properties of Friction stir welded 2014 Aluminum alloy was studied. The different tool pin profiles such as cylindrical, taper with threaded and square were used to fabricate the joints. Taguchi technique was employed to optimize process parameters. this is the first book to be published based on research area.
