The heat transfer rate can be enhanced by active or passive techniques. The active techniques are mostly not applicable for many systems but The passive techniques like surface modification can be easily applied. The main emphasis of this book is on dimpled surface modification technique. The results of various arrays of dimples created on surfaces have compared with plane surface results. This book is helpful for UG students.
