Beschreibung
Simulation technology in the aviation industry is more critical than other technologies used in safety-critical industry. Previously, simulators in aviation training were used in order to train instrumentations (sticks, rudder and avionic instrument training). Today, a large part of aviation training (especially the new multi-crew pilot license (MPL) training) is mostly based on the simulation of flight training. Although it seems that the most important reason for this is taking an effective training; the main reason is to save money, time and peoples life. The importance of pilot flight training simulators is increasing day by day for military use as well as civil use. This thesis is prepared to monitor changes that occur in cognitive status of pilots during the training received in a new generation simulator. For this issue, heart rate data of the pilots are collected during the trainings and using this data anxiety of a pilot when faced with a malfunction is evaluated.
