Sun sensor, Star sensor, Earth sensor are all expensive attitude determination solutions for a Pico-Sat class, which makes satellite projects at most of the universities unaffordable. Can Optical sensors be modest solution of attitude determination on Pico-Sats? So that, every university which wants to promote space education can afford to build a Pico-Sat with experimental payloads.

Nagarjuna Kandimala holds masters in Telecommunication Systems, Space Technology and Cybernetics & Robotics from prestigious universities in Europe. As a Space Master his thesis on optical attitude determination for pico satellites as be cited in different research journals and some of his papers are cited in patent applications and master thesis.
