The book is created for researchers who are working in the area of image processing for human action recognition. We had listed detail literature survey of different methods used in human action recognition with its advantages and disadvantages. We have proposed our own method for human action recognition and it proved that it will give better result compare to the existing system. We have evaluated the performance of the proposed methods on the various standard human action data sets used by researchers. We had discussed pre-processing, feature extraction and classification techniques in details.

Dr. Jaliya did his B.E, M.E, and Ph.D in Computer Engineering in the year of 2002, 2010, and 2016 respectively. He has 17 years of teaching experience. His area of interest is in Image Processing, Distributed Systems, and Parallel Processing.Ms. Meghakumari did her Diploma and B.E in Information Technology and M.E in Computer Engineering.
