This book focuses on the human face recognition. This is one of the pattern recognition techniques. Author has very nicely represented the literature review in the area of human face recognition. Book contains features extraction using dimensional reduction technique known as PCA. Two classification techniques described namely neural network and euclidean distance. The results of both classification techniques are given in the book on different standard face databases.

Dr. Jaliya did his B.E, M.E, and Ph.D in Computer Engineering in the year of 2002, 2010, and 2016 respectively. He has 14 years of teaching experience. His area of interest is in Image Processing, Distributed Systems, and Parallel Processing. He has published/Presented around 32 research papers in various journals and international conferences.
