Nowadays, travel time information becomes a major component of Advanced Traveller Information System (ATIS). CAN for VSS is a centralized monitoring system through PC, annunciation system. RFID receiver integrated with CAN will benefit from communications and sensing capabilities. The integration of the RFID and CAN will facilitate the extension of an RFID network. These two promoting technologies has been explored in this book to provide a smart solution managing the vehicle schedule in the vehicle.

Jayendra Singh is pursuing his Post Graduation Diploma course in Embedded System Design from Centre for Development of Advance Computing (CDAC), Mohali, Punjab, India and is leading a team of his course mates. His interests are primarily in the field of embedded system design and implementation.
