Beschreibung
As in previous years, Armin Schnettler, head of the institute, would like to give you a brief overview over the work and activities accomplished this past year at the Institute for High Voltage Technology. It was a very eventful year both with regards to the content ad to the strategic positioning, which is reflected in the key figures for example the doctorates and research assistans. Besides the traditional topics of a high voltage institute, the network analysis tools (IFHT-toolchain) for dirstribution and transmission systems currently represent the benchmark for many technical aspects. Further research focuses lay on assessing the system stability on AC/DC-technologies and their protective measures as well as on the complete digitalization of the energy system and thus the development of "digital twins" so to speak.
