Going through the present report you will immediately recognize the enormous diversity, the interdisciplinarity, and the prosperity of science carried out or supported by LIP scientists. We are proud to see how extraordinarily well LIP performed during the last year and we believe that you will enjoy reading this report to get a glance on our activities. As a tradition, we do not go too deep into the details of the individual projects. It is instead our intention to capture your attention for the great variety of research activities and we hope that some studies will stimulate your curiosity in a way that you might want to follow up with the related scientific literature.
