As oil and gas production facilities(FPS, FPSO, Platforms) in remote offshore locations do not have storage facilities on board for gases, the challenges of finding alternative uses for these gases, termed stranded gases increased. Some of the gas monetization options explored by oil and gas operators to eliminate flaring; which removes possibility of generating any revenue and negative consequences of green house gas generation include; export by pipeline, gas to wire(GTW), liquefaction(LNG), gas to liquid(GTL), compressed gas (CNG)and gas hydrates (GH). This book, an in-depth study carried out by the author, is geared towards proposing suitable cost effective gas utilization options, considering technical and economic viability, with the aim of generating revenue from the stranded gas produced from remote offshore fields. This book will serve as reference material for young graduates and professionals in the oil and gas industry, or anyone else who may be considering working in oil and gas engineering design, operation and construction.
