This book is about the development of a management framework that can be used when developers, and IT specialists migrate from one platform to another. Software migrations are mostly performed by organisations by migration teams and there is a need for such teams to be guided by a management framework that can guide them to perform successful migrations. Most especially, sensitive information has to be protected and well handled during the migration process. The management framework proposed in the book would be helpful in the protection of sensitive information during migration from one platform to the other.The management framework was developed by using migration from proprietary platform to the open source platform. The importance and the benefits of the open source platform are explained in the book. The book will be a good management tool for IT specialists in the industry as well as in the academia.

His research areas include Information Security, Protection of Sensitive Information, IT Governance, ICT Management, Data Security and Business Intelligence Analytics.
