ZnO is most promising and a unique material that exhibits semiconducting as well as piezoelectric property. Oxidation-assisted method for pure metallic Zinc at different temperatures for 2 h, the beautiful results give optimum information about the formation of ZnO nanostructures at the surface of metallic Zinc. These unique results clearly demonstrate that ZnO is easily grown and nucleated in the form of various type of nanostructures. In this book, the various nanostructures of ZnO grown on the surface of Zn-metal by oxidation process at the different temperatures have been reported.

Aman J. Shukla completed his Bachelors from U.I.E.T Kanpur in Materials science & Metallurgy and Masters in Nanoscience and Technology from Sharda University and completed some research in NIT-Bhopal and also was Project Engineer in IIT-Kanpur and now he moved IIT-Kharagpur for second Masters degree in Metallurgy.
