CO2 absorption is one of the up-to-the-minute technology used in the process industry to control CO2 discharge into the atmosphere. This book provides an insight in temperature and enthalpy datum in the absorption column for chemical absorption process. This information is vital in designing of absorption column and to have a better understanding of operation of absorption column. Many operational Problems associated with CO2 process are directly related to rise in temperature. This book provides the details of change in temperature and enthalpy profile along the height of the absorption column for different operating conditions.

Harith Rashid graduated from NANOCAT, University of Malaya, Malaysia with major in Chemical Engineering. He focused on Process Simulation and design for gas absorption processes during his graduation. Currently, he is a project engineer in NANOCAT for Designing NANOMag Pilot Plant and is working hard to become a good chemical engineer.
