In continuation of the earlier book on spectrophotometric methods for iron and copper the present book is the next attempt for covering methods and reagents for single as well as simultaneous Spectrophotometric determination methods for the two most important industrial and biologically useful metals Ni and Co. The book is an extremely helpful single source handbook for researchers, analytical chemists in industry as well as post graduate students in academic institutions. It covers methods developed during the last 20 years and gives very brief descriptions as a Do-It-Yourself Guide in simple and precise language.
Autorenporträt
Prof. A.K. Goswami is a known name in analytical chemistry and spectrophotometric determination of various transition metals. He has a teaching experience worth 33 years with research on various aspects of metal complexes from reagent development to application. He has published 10 reviews on spectrophotometric determination of transition metals, about 130 research papers and ten books. Not to mention 30 Ph.D. students have done their doctoral thesis under his supervision. He has been writing books on all aspects of application of metal complexes, medicinal chemistry, theoretical drug design to mention of few. After retirement from M.L. Sukhadia University, Udaipur has been awarded a BSR Faculty fellowship by UGC, New Delhi.
