Beschreibung
Extraction and spectrophotometric determination of Fe(III), Cu(II) and Cd(II) ions in different water sources by using 1,10-phenanthroline and Eriocrome black-T or tartrazine mixed reagents. The methods are based on the formation of coloured ternary complexes and improved using a cationic surfactant, cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB). Moreover, the book includes a study case on how to make a management of iron impact on Nile water due to the dump of high quantities of wastes of iron-steel's Helwan factories and coke factories into it and how this problem could be solved under the conventional treatment technology.
