Plastics were thought to be the only major source of Bisphenol A (a known endocrine disruptor and organic pollutant); however, this perception is changing rapidly with the realization that paper used at cash registers contains unusually high amounts of Bisphenol A and thus could be a major source for human exposure. This book highlights Bisphenol A's unexpected sources as well as its metabolism and toxicity.
