International Conference on Green and Efficient Energy Technology and Materials (GEETAM 2019) organized from 6 - 8 March 2019 by Centre of Excellence in Green and Efficient Energy Technology (CoE GEET) Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi. The objective was to explore the recent developments in new and renewable energy technologies and materials for meeting the demands of a sustainable future of the common masses of emerging economies and to increase the awareness in Green Technology. It was also aimed to enlighten personnel in the area of renewable energy, to generate ideas for implementation of renewable energy projects through policy interventions, to provide impetus to the efforts for attracting young researchers in the exciting and emerging areas of renewable energy, to promote active research in materials related to energy, to collaborate with government and private firms for setting up projects and to enhance the quality of life of people in remote areas of Jharkhand.

Prof S.K.Samdarshi is a Professor of Energy Engineering at CUJ Ranchi, He works in the area of photocatalysis. Dr Sachin Kumar is an Asst. Prof of Energy Engineering at CUJ Ranchi. His area of research is Alternative fuels. Dr A. S Bhattacharyya is an Asst. Prof of Nanotechnology CUJ Ranchi. His area of research is Surface Engineering.
