Clays and clay wastes are very much available in nature. The valorization of these materials in certain industries such as cement can present many advantages. This book deals with the possibility of using these materials as artificial pozzolans in the cement industry. It gives an overview on elaboration of reactive materials from clays and clay wastes, this reactivity is measured by pozzolanic activity, where some tests and examples are presented in detail.

Mohammed Siline was born in 1976 in Algeria. He received the Engineer degree from the University of Batna in 2001, the Magister degree from the University of Biskra in 2005 and the Ph.D. Degree in Civil engineering from the University of M'sila in 2016. In 2005, he joined the University of M'sila, as an Assistant, in 2016 he became a Lecturer.
