This book is designed to meet the academic requirements of the subject 'Environmental Studies' for undergraduate students of all disciplines in Indian and overseas universities. Chapter 5 discusses environmental pollution, its sources, effects and control measures. Social issues and environment is described in Chapter 6. Chapter 7 discuss the various acts related to environment. Key features of this book includes self-explanatory diagrams and multiple choice questions at the end of each chapter along with their answers as key points.

S.D.Mendhule holds a BE in Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University, Maharashtra, India and perusing ME in Digital Electronics from Amravati University, Maharashtra, India. He taught environmental studies for MSBTE students for 3 years.
