This book is an original intellectual work. The research was carried out as part of the masters programme in Management of Built Environment at Politecnico di Milano and Chair of Construction Engineering and Management at Bauhaus University Weimar. The data collection work described in was conducted as part of a collaborative research team, which is covered by Bauhaus University and Municipality of Weimar. Authors ambition is to develop his understanding and implementation of BIM in existing buildings with all integrated multi-discipline coordination and contributing to the Building Maintenance with Life Cycle Cost.
