This research work pertains to feasibility study and implementation of FMECA on the centrifugal pump with the aim to obtain criticality index for its operation and reveal the qualitative and quantitative aspects of failure mode of centrifugal pump. Feasibility study is an analysis and evaluation of a proposed research projects to determine the authenticity of its execution in terms of technical as well as economical soundness and compatibility for efficient and reliable outcomes leading to profits and plays a significance role in determining potential of research theme over given sets of system and it depends upon various factors like operating environment, resources and infrastructure, sequence of operation, manpower skills, machine efficiency, technical aspects, cost analysis,.etc.

Deeptesh Singh has done his Master of Technology from MANIT, Bhopal, India. His research work focused on the centrifugal pump. He has published four research papers in reputed professional journals and one of his article on centrifugal pump is published in Pump and Valves magazine.
