This book titled Science in Sanskrit Verses of Vedic Scriptures is written with the sole aim of bringing out the rich ancient Indian heritage of Vedic Scriptures and the uncanny ability and great wisdom of the ancient Hindus in material as well as transcendental sciences reach the youth of the country and the world at large. Vedic Paradigm comprises both Para Vidya (intuitive) and Apara Vidya (intellectual); while the former is for liberation of the soul, the latter is for a stress free peaceful living. Science can only give the world half-truth without the spirit of life while Vedas in contradistinction to Science afford gradual evolution of human beings and ultimately to divinity. Many great thinkers and great scientists have opined Vedas as the ultimate of knowledge. Some have even acknowledged them as the very basis of their findings. Albert Einstein acknowledged the essence of Bhagavad Gita has lent him the inspired creativity of his discovery of Theory of Relativity E=mc2. Sir Arthur Holmes, a respectable authority on Physical Geology quoted in his book Age of the Earth as an astonishing concept of the ancient Hindus traced back to "Manusmriti", a sacred book.

Dr. Y.V. Subba Rao, Ph.D., FIE., C.Eng.(I)., Chartered Mining Engineer, was a Faculty Member of Department of Mining, Osmania University and later Department of Geology, S.V. University, India.He is the author of several books on Veda-Sciences and has several research papers to his credit published in high impact Indian and International Journals.
