Overdenture is a preventive dentistry concept. Its prognosis is influenced by numerous factors like patient selection, treatment planning, mouth preparation, execution of prosthodontic work and oral hygiene maintenance. Overdenture offers the patient a gain in neuromuscular performance thereby giving him an edge over his edentulous counterpart. Dr. Modhupa Ghosh, M.D.S Prosthodontics and Implantology. She is an alumni of the prestigious Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, Delhi and V.S. Dental College, Bangalore. She has been the recipient of "The Pierre Fauchard Academy Award" and "The International College of Dentist's Award".
