Fixed restorations have become the routine dental procedures and the impressions play an important role in the final out come of these treatments. It always a challenge to chose an appropriate impression technique for indirect restorations. Hence an attempt is made to critically analyse different impression techniques for indirect restorations particularly fixed partial dentures. Also discussed about the impression trays and gingival displacement technique in this book.

Graduated in Dental Surgery from Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences, Bangalore, India in 1998 and recieved Postgraduate degree in Prosthodontics and Implantology from College of Dental Sciences, Davangere, India in 2006. Presently working as Associate Professor of Prosthodontics at KVG Dental College and Hospital, Sullia DK, India.
