Forensic Odontology is a sub division of Forensic Science. It can be considered as an area of specialization under dentistry as well as forensic medicine because knowledge of both the fields is vital for its activities. The medico-legal information obtained from the examination of teeth and jaws fall in the preview of forensic odontology. This is an attempt to review the information about forensic odontology.
