Root canal sealers, although used only as adjunctive materials in the obturation of root canals, have been shown to influence the outcome of endodontic treatment. Several types of root canal sealers are used in endodontic practice with each one having own merits and demerits. A perfect combination of sealing ability and biocompatibility is what an ideal root canal sealer should possess. Lots of advances have been seen in the past decades in this field. This book tries to give an insight and complete comprehensive knowledge in the field of Endodontic Root Canal Sealers. It focuses on the history, classification, properties, requirements, advantages, disadvantages and recent advances along with wide range of reviews.
