The association of malocclusion with temporomandibular disorders has been a controversy for decades. Numerous authors have tried to delineate the relationship between the two. This book reflects our findings in patients who are affected by temporomandibular disorders and attempts to determine its association with malocclusion. We discuss the anatomy of the joint, the etiology of temporomandibular disorders, and finally report the results of our investigation and compare it to the existing literature.

Dr. Adeel Tahir Kamal is currently a resident in Orthodontics at the Aga Khan University Hospital. He has always had a keen interest in temporomandibular disorders and their relation to malocclusion and has published relevant literature in the past.
