Venepuncture/ peripheral venous cannulation is the procedure usually performed in every patient which often neglected by medicos. It is very simple procedure but at times it becomes very difficult to perform it specially in obese, children and geriatric patients etc. This procedure usually performed without any pain reducing manoeuvre. Over the last many years there are various studies showing methods to prevent pain induced by Venepuncture /peripheral venous cannulation. This book covers the technique, protocol, guidelines related to procedure. It also includes prevention of complication induced by venipuncture/ peripheral venous cannulation.
