Hepatic Encephalopathy in current medical practice is not an uncommon presentation. The approach to this disorder has been constantly reviewed and updated. This book is a review of the various pathogenic mechanisms and diagnostic approach to HE. The study on which this book is based was done at a general hospital with the intention of assessing the various laboratory and clinical parameters in patients presenting with HE, the prognostic value of serum ammonia levels in these patients has been studied.
