In this article I have discussed the various modalities and techniques to the Pterygium surgery and the effects of these techniques on the post operative results. It is a comparative study, which guides us how to approach the different cases of pterygium. I have also discussed the pathophysiology of pterygium and discussed the work of various clinicians who have researched on the treatment. It is a helpful guide to the ophthalmologists to modify the way of dealing with pterygium to obtain the best results.
