Bearing in mind the tremendous advantages of the nano-vesicular systems invoked, the proposed provesicular systems can be considered an attractive means for the topical delivery of tolnaftate due to their proven enhancement of drug loading, releasing and penetrating characteristics. This work can be considered a good addition in the field of pharmaceutical drug delivery for effective topical therapy of tinea with tolnaftate.
