Beschreibung
This book addresses the development of flurbiprofen loaded composite microparticles for oral delivery. Poly(-caprolactone) is a hydrophobic polymer and known to release encapsulated active pharmaceutical ingredient over extended period of time. This polymer was blended with hydrophilic poly(vinylpyrrolidone) to enhance the drug release. Poly(vinylpyrrolidone) enhanced flurbiprofen release by creating pores in composite particles.

Ikram ullah khan is pharmacist by profession and lecturer at Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Government College University Faisalabad Pakistan. He holds a PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University of Strasbourg France and interested in research and development of drug carriers especially micro- and nanoparticles.
