Beschreibung
Non-Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors (NNRTIs) of HIV-1 are an important part of currently available anti-HIV therapies because of their diversity and specificity in targeting this enzyme. The use of NNRTIs in the clinic still remains subject to the rapid emergence of drug resistance due to mutation of the HIV-RT enzyme and this limits therapeutic options. So there is need to discover new chemical entity having broad spectrum activity against reverse transcriptase enzyme.
