The transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is a well-developed technique that keeps improving. High degree conduction disorders are a frequent but potential life-threatening complication whose prediction remains difficult. This work summarizes to the readers a study led in La Pitié Salpétrière hospital, based on electrophysiology study and electrocardiogram data. This book proposes a decisional algorithm about how to monitor a patient and when to implant a permanent pacemaker. The aim is to help any physician in the management of conduction disorders after TAVR.

Graduated with the highest Honors as a Medical Doctor in the university Paris VII Denis Diderot, Caroline Chong-Nguyen acquired strong academic and practical experiences through researches in different fields. She is now a cardiologist assistant and devotes her time for patient's healthcare, clinical researches and student's education.
