The health of medical professionals and health care providers is a cause of concern. Keeping the credibility of being a caregiver, they are expected to be disease free and ideal models of a healthy state. This book, an outcome of an extensive research work in the hospital of New Delhi has attempted to elucidate the risk factors and other associations with occupational risks and health hazards to health care professionals at the workplace. The presentation is lucid and attempts to highlight the importance of precautions, and more so, emphasizes on evidence based facts.

Dr. Paras Agarwal is a MD in Community Medicine. He completed his post graduation and pursues Public Health as a career. Very active in his field, he has various research papers in National and International Journals of repute and has been involved in National level Research Projects with the Indian Council of Medical Research and WHO.
