Obesity is one of the major nutrition related disorders; the etiology of obesity involves complex relations between dietary factors and various internal factors (genes, and metabolism) and external exposures (lifestyle, and environmental factors). These conditions associated with weight gain and biological alterations in the body participate in the progression of a wide group of diseases including oxidative stress, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and depression.
