Abortion is a major public health problem of the world. Sub Saharan Africa specifically suffers 14 % of maternal death due to unsafe abortion. Youth are among the segment of the population with large burden of induced abortion which is unsafe one. Ethiopia as part of this region, estimated to have 3.27 million pregnancies every year, of which approximately 500,000 end in either spontaneous or unsafely induced abortion.
