Mothers are consistently faced with challenges in seeking healthcare for their newborns babies in some parts of Ghana. Their steps are influenced by individual perceptions and socio-cultural factors. This book delves into what actions mothers in the Winneba community undertake in ensuring their babies receive the health care needed. The uncovering of these behaviors is to help effect policy reforms to improve healthcare delivery to every facet of society.
Autorenporträt
Dr. Adolph Eli Garfo is a pediatric resident at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Ghana. He had his medical training at University of Ghana School of Medicine and Dentistry. He enjoys public health that focuses on child welfare and has been working with Non-Governmental Organizations to reach out to underprivileged children in rural parts of Ghana.
