Polycystic ovarian syndrome is the most common cause of anovulation and female infertility. (Vincenzo D et al., 2003; Myers et al., 2005), Not only these women are infertile but also more likely they have pregnancy complications, like recurrent miscarriage. (Li TC et al., 2002) Various studies have shown that women with PCOS have increased chances of miscarriage in the first trimester pregnancy with loss rates are as high as (25-35%). (Jakubowicz et al., 2002).
