Beschreibung
Pregnancy is a normal physiological state in the females life. This period has been characterized by several physiological, hormonal and physical changes to allow growth of the fetus. However, these changes may induce decline in postural balance and joint stability, leading to increased incidence of joint injuries and making falls more likely than in the non pregnant state. Which trimester of pregnancy is more affected? which direction of stability is more affected (anterposterior or mediolateral direction)? and what are the recommended exercises and physical training programs during pregnancy to improve postural balance, reduce liability of falling and allow the pregnant woman to have a happy pregnancy with minimal complains? All these questions will be answered in this book.
