Tuberculosis remains a major global health problem. Lymph nodes represent the most common site for extra pulmonary tuberculosis. Several techniques have been employed for the diagnosis of extrapulmonary Tuberculosis including; conventional Hematoxylin and Eosin stain, the Ziehl-Neelsen stain, Immunohistochemistry and Polymerase chain reaction. Each of these techniques has advantages and limitations. Therfore this book is to illustrate the role of these techniques in diagnosis of LNTB.

Dr. Ihab Hamed Nourein Hamed, assistant professor of Histopathology, graduated from University of Science and Technology, he has PhD of Histopathology & Cytology from Sudan University of Sciences. Dr. Ihab has a work experiences of 11 years in academic work & research. His research interest area are Immunohistochemistry and diagnosis of cancer.
