This volume provides a complete guide to the diagnosis and treatment of Dural cavernous sinus fistula (DCSF). After sections on anatomy, classification of fistulas and the etiology and pathogenesis of DCSF, the symptomatology of the disease is described in detail. The role of modern imaging techniques in diagnosis is then addressed. Full consideration is given to both conventional intra-arterial angiography and 3D rotational angiography. Due attention is also paid to the use of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound. Finally, the various transvenous techniques for successful endovascular treatment of DCSF are discussed.
