Dr Satyendra K Tiwary, MBBS (Hons), MS (Surgery), FMAS, FICS, FCLS is Professor in Department of General Surgery at Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He completed his postgraduation in surgery from Patna Medical College, Patna, India. With teaching experience of 17 years, Dr Tiwary has around 120 publications in various national and international journals and has delivered numerous oral, poster presentations and invited lectures. He has edited books including Ulcers of the Lower Extremity published by Springer in 2016, 'COVID-19: Challenges Ahead' published by CBS in 2020, Annual Surgical Updates, published in 2020 and Vascular Malformations Published by Springer in 2021, and has published few chapters in books. He has keen interest in academics and research with special interest in phlebology, vascular medicine, wound management and lower limb pathology.
