Ultrasonography is a corner stone in the primary survey of a traumatized patient.As the emergency medicine is a new version of medicine in Egypt, it was a must to start a study about the capability of emergency physicians to use the ultrasongraphy and the confirmation of the results to grantee the patients' safety. the study was performed in a newly established emergency department in Monofya University based on advanced trauma life support course.
