In modern time significant successes in diagnostics, preventive maintenance and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias are achieved. The choice of antiarrhythmic preparation is realized with consideration of pathogenesis of arrhythmia. In this book modern categorizations of antiarrhythmic preparations are shown. Beside of, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of different preparations antiarrhythmic agents, as well as medicinal remedies from other pharmacological groups, which have antiarrhythmic action are described. Particularities of dosage and differential using of these agents are submitted also. Combine therapy with help of several antiarrhythmic agents for the treatment of severe disorders of cardiac rhythm and conductivity is included in this book also. New material is present in this book also. It concerns new methods treatment of different hazardous types of arrhythmia with help of antiarrhythmic agent allapinin, which is unknown for Western-European physician. All sections of the book are written with taking to account the personal clinical experience of the authors.

Kapustnick Yuri. PhD, assistant. In 1979 he graduated from medical faculty of PMSI. In 1990 he graduated from postgraduate specialty in cardiology at the Ukrainian Institute of Internal Medicine (Kharkiv city). He has over 46 scientific articles, 5 patents for research invention, and three books related to cardiology.
