This Book entitled Anti-Angiogenic Efficacy of a 3-Hydroxy Flavone Derivative deals with evaluation and description of anti-angiogenic activity of flavonoid quercetin. The body controls angiogenesis by producing a precise balance of growth and inhibitory factors in healthy tissues. When this balance is disturbed, the result is either too much or too little angiogenesis. Abnormal blood vessel growth either excessive or insufficient is now recognized as a common denominator underlying many deadly and debilitating conditions including cancer, skin diseases, age related blindness, diabetic ulcers, cardiovascular disease, stroke and many others.

Dr.SPP is currently working as an Asst. Professor (Senior Grade) in the Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi, India since last 9 years. He did his PDF at Faculty of Medicine, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem,IL (21st University in World ranking and a home University to Sir Albert Einstein). He also did his Ph.D. & Master's on Breast Cancer
